Birch is an excellent firewood, however, it burns quickly, so it is best when mixed with other slower kiln-dried firewood such as Oak.

Birch burns at medium to high heat and doesn’t release heavy smoke or sparks. When burned, it gives off a romantic blue flame and is often the wood of choice for decorators because of its unique beauty.
